Calculating grades, bills, and everyday quantities

Everyday arithmetic often depends on a weighting or comparison rule. Course credits can weight a GPA, assessment percentages can weight a final grade, and a bill split depends on which amount is shared. Identify that rule before entering values so that the result reflects the intended arrangement.

Check whether a number represents a percentage, a point total, a credit value, or a currency amount. A result based on entered rules does not confirm an institution's grading policy or an agreement between people. The worked example helps show how each input is used.
