Dew Point Calculator
Estimate dew point, relative humidity or air temperature with the liquid-water Magnus approximation and explicit input ranges.
Heat Index Calculator
Estimate NWS apparent heat from air temperature and humidity, or infer humidity from a supplied dew point.
Wind Chill Calculator
Calculate National Weather Service wind chill for temperatures at or below 50°F and wind speeds above 3 mph.
Interpreting apparent temperature and humidity
Weather indices combine measurements under specific reference conditions. Wind chill uses temperature and wind, heat index relates temperature and humidity, and dew point describes a moisture-related temperature. Choose the quantity that matches the question and confirm that the inputs are within the method's intended range.
An apparent-temperature index is different from the measured air temperature. It does not capture every aspect of an individual's exposure or establish a safe time outdoors. Compare results with the formula notes and current conditions rather than interpreting one index as a complete weather assessment.
