Electricity Calculator
Estimate appliance energy use and cost from wattage, operating time and tariff, with an optional average-load factor.
Ohms Law Calculator
Solve voltage, current, resistance and power from two supported known quantities in a DC or purely resistive model.
Resistor Calculator
Find series or parallel resistance, decode supported color bands, or estimate conductor resistance from dimensions and conductivity.
Voltage Drop Calculator
Estimate DC or simplified AC voltage drop from conductor data, or convert AWG and kcmil sizes to nominal wire geometry.
Checking units in electrical calculations
Choose the circuit relationship that matches the known quantities. Ohm's law combines basic electrical values, resistor tools handle component markings and combinations, and voltage-drop models include conductor and circuit assumptions. Unit prefixes and the interpretation of conductor length are especially important to a correct result.
A mathematical output does not verify a component rating or make an installation safe. Review the model's scope and applicable reference notes before using an estimate in design work. Real circuits can require additional analysis beyond the values supported by the selected calculator.
